Sienna to team up with 007? - Feb 14 2007
Sienna Miller is reportedly set to star alongside her ex Daniel Craig in the next James Bond flick.
The 25-year-old blonde has previously starred with the hunky actor in gangster film Layer Cake - where the couple had a brief affair.
An insider told The Daily Star: "Sienna is the hottest young actress around and would be the perfect Bond girl. She’s beautiful, talented, British and a real style icon.
"And that red hot chemistry with Daniel and you have all the makings of the best Bond ever."
It seems film bosses wanted her for Casino Royale but failed to come to an agreement - and now the 38-year-old actor has apparently been trying to persuade Sienna to sign up for the next outing.
She said: "I don’t think Daniel has the time to be my agent at the moment" - before letting slip: "How could anyone say no to James Bond?"
Sienna’s ’pants over tights’ sets trend Feb 1 - 2007
Sienna Miller’s appearance in what looked like black pants over thick tights may have prompted a new fashion trend, a retailer said today.
The 25-year-old actress stepped out in the unusual outfit for a New York party after the premiere of her new film Factory Girl.
Asda’s fashion arm George today said sales of its £6 black control pants had soared after photographs of Sienna appeared in the press.
Around 230% more of the big knickers were snapped up compared to the last week.
George spokesman Ed Watson said Sienna’s "pants over tights" combo had met with scepticism in some corners.
"Our customers have said knickers to that and are buying them by the shed load - they love them," he said.
Fashion experts say Sienna was actually wearing "micro shorts" which are tipped to be a big trend this summer.
Sienna shines at Warhol premiere - Jan 29 2007
Sienna Miller dazzled at the premiere of her first major movie last night, but admitted she was nervous about how the critics would rate it.
The British actress, who plays Andy Warhol’s muse Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl, said getting the 60s starlet’s brother and husband’s approval had eased her mind.
Sienna, 25, conceded recently that it was her "soap opera" relationship with Jude Law that made her famous, saying the problem was that none of the three films she has been in so far was successful enough to overshadow that spotlight.
"I think there’s always an amount of trepidation," she said on the red carpet in New York when asked how she was feeling about the reviewers.
"But Edie’s brother saw it and said that he loved it and her husband thought that it was like her, so I feel like if those people are happy I don’t really mind too much."
Sedgwick was Warhol’s brightest protege until she died from an overdose of barbiturates in 1971.
Sienna wore a glittery white 60s-style mini-dress covered in tassels, silver Burberry shoes and jewellery by Stephen Webster and Hearts on Fire.
The vintage frock was from Los Angeles boutique The Way We Wore.

Sienna’s parents divorced rather early in her life and she moved to England with her mother, where Jo took on the job of running London’s Lee Strasberg drama school.
Sienna spent most of her adolescent life at Heathfield School, a boarding school in Ascot. On her return to London she enrolled at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
Early theatre performances were on the stages of New York and include The Striker, Independence and Cigarettes & Chocolate, directed by Anthony Minghella, who’s famous for helming the movie The English Patient (1996).
In New York she was ’spotted’ by Select Modeling agency, she continued to model on her return to England.
After starring in a few underrated television shows, Paramount Pictures signed her up to a seven-year contract. It was following this that she began to grab a few roles in some big budget silver screen productions, including Layer Cake, Alfie and Casanova.
After co-starring in Alfie together, Sienna began a relationship with one of the UK’s hottest men, Jude Law, and it is mostly this soapbox of a relationship that bagged her the most column inches.
Sienna went on to play Celia in a West End stage production of As You Like It, fulfilling a life times ambition - however not to great acclaim.
In 2006 she finished filming Factory Girl, in which she plays Andy Warhol’s muse Edie Sedgewick.
