Jude warns Sienna about fame game? - Jan 29 2007
It seems Jude Law has got a few words of warning for ex-girlfriend Sienna Miller - over her Hollywood ambitions.
The Alfie star apparently warned Sienna to stop networking with high profile names, feeling she is trying to "take over Hollywood", the Daily Express reports.
"It appears he thinks it’s an attempt by Sienna to become a more important Hollywood name than he is," a source told the paper.
"He’s been an established player for several years with films like The Talented Mr Ripley and Cold Mountain but never quite made it to the top of the A list."
Jude, who is currently filming Sleuth with Michael Caine, apparently told friends Sienna is fixated on hitting it big in Hollywood.
"He was apparently miffed that Sienna approached his friend and former co-star Cameron Diaz at the Golden Globe awards and tried to rekindle a friendship with her," added the source.
Sienna moans about ’soap opera’ fame - Jan 26 2007
Sienna Miller says she became famous because of her "soap opera" relationship with Jude Law, not her acting.
And the 25-year-old revealed she did not know why she was so widely recognised but conceded it was not for any of her films, according to the Evening Standard.
"It’s this national obsession with what happens next and if your soap opera gets particularly juicy and particularly scandalous then it’s more interesting - and somehow I always end up being scandalous even though I don’t mean to," the actress said at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
She added: "I guess the relationship I’ve been in has been a particularly good soap opera."
Sienna said the problem was that none of the three films she has been in so far had been successful enough to overshadow the spotlight she got for her relationship with Jude, whom she met while making Alfie.
"Everything just happened in the wrong order," she said.
But she hopes her roles this year, which include playing artist Andy Warhol’s muse Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl, will shift the focus on to her as an actress.
Sienna shuns celeb squeezes - Jan 22 2007
Sienna Miller braved a snow flurry to attend the premiere of her new lo-fi movie Interview at the Sundance Film Festival.
Having been snapped by the paps after arriving at Salt Lake City on Friday, Sienna joined co-star and director Steve Buscemi at the Prospector Theatre to talk about the film, in which she plays a famous but not very talented actress who meets and talks with a jaded war reporter.
For comparatively inexperienced but mega-famous Sienna, playing someone who revels in celebrity was a kick.
"It was really funny," she admits, "but it’s not how I feel about it at all."
Jude Law’s former squeeze is hoping being known just for her relationships is gradually fading away.

Sienna’s parents divorced rather early in her life and she moved to England with her mother, where Jo took on the job of running London’s Lee Strasberg drama school.
Sienna spent most of her adolescent life at Heathfield School, a boarding school in Ascot. On her return to London she enrolled at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
Early theatre performances were on the stages of New York and include The Striker, Independence and Cigarettes & Chocolate, directed by Anthony Minghella, who’s famous for helming the movie The English Patient (1996).
In New York she was ’spotted’ by Select Modeling agency, she continued to model on her return to England.
After starring in a few underrated television shows, Paramount Pictures signed her up to a seven-year contract. It was following this that she began to grab a few roles in some big budget silver screen productions, including Layer Cake, Alfie and Casanova.
After co-starring in Alfie together, Sienna began a relationship with one of the UK’s hottest men, Jude Law, and it is mostly this soapbox of a relationship that bagged her the most column inches.
Sienna went on to play Celia in a West End stage production of As You Like It, fulfilling a life times ambition - however not to great acclaim.
In 2006 she finished filming Factory Girl, in which she plays Andy Warhol’s muse Edie Sedgewick.
