After much deliberation over which three celebrities would take part in the Bushtucker Challenge the youngest, fittest, strongest lads, and Bobby Ball, were sent out to prove themselves. Presented with a bug free bowling challenge the men threw themselves in to it - quite literally - as they skidded down a ramp on a sled to knock down skittles (before, of course, falling in to smelly water filled with fish guts). It was a task Antony found himself rather adept at, securing a meal in one strike as well as assisting Sid in securing a second but when it came to the elder statesman of the group Bobby didn’t quite live up to his name, screaming ’Von! Von! Von!’ as he hurtled down the ramp, missing the pins ahead of him. No amount of encouragement could get Bobby to buck up his ideas and the two meals were all the trio could manage - a fact that Sheree and Jenny thought just had to be a joke.sorry girls, but it really is rice and beans tonight.

Most years the lucky IACGMOOH celebrities have had plenty of opportunity to sun themselves in the baking Australian heat, not so this year and another storm has just threatened to wash them away. A few spots of rain didn’t bother our intrepid remaining celebs as they cosied up under a tarpaulin and watched the storm pick up but there was screams aplenty from the girls as the sheet was swept away by the wind and the fire extinguished by torrential rain.then the thunder and lightning began. The group cowered together in the penthouse while Sheree worried about lightning striking trees, Sid’s bed got soaked and Bobby wished he was at home with Von and a nice cuppa - spirits remained high despite the camp being flooded and all their belongings deluged but there’s still the aftermath to contend with; will Jimmy develop the dreaded trenchfoot? Will Carol need to call in a disaster management team? Will Antony’s chest hair become waterlogged? And will Jenny finally have the material to tell a joke that someone else gets?

She’s been waiting and hoping for a Bushtucker Trial and finally Jenny Frost has come face to face with some creepy crawlies in her first Trial. The former Kitten took on Panic Stations with aplomb, plugging holes in the wall of a shrinking room as unhappy looking snakes, spiders and other foul bugs were spewed forth at her. Looking as determined as can be the chart topping singer held back the screams that were so obviously on the tip of her tongue and got on with the job at hand - securing the first full food haul of the show - nine stars for nine celebs. The camp have never looked so happy and Jenny couldn’t resist a little bit of boasting when she returned.
