Theatre, arts and education centre
The Chelsea Centre serves its community with a theatre for new plays of high literary value enriched by a complimentary programme of arts and education activities, including writing for theatre courses, a technical theatre course, a volunteer development programme, alcohol and drug therapy, senior citizen playreading group, dance drama workshops, Tai Chi, photography, Arabic language and English language workshops. OOSPEC is a consortium of local voluntary organisations working together to co-ordinate out of school activities for children and young people in the Earl's Court area, and to enhance out of school educational and leisure opportunities available to young people. It aims to encourage confidence and self esteem in young people using OOSPEC services.
