Breed 77- Un Encuentro
Release date: Out now
Format: Album
Genre: Rock
Our Rating: 3/5
I prepped myself for a slap down of growling and an inexorable assault of metal, but instead I was confronted with gentle brushes of guitar strings. Although the band are the metal heavyweights of Hard Rock the experience was less intense and far more calming. Could the boys be going all coochy-coo on us? Who knows!
Recorded in their native tongue ‘Un Encuentro’ marries the Southern Med drive to the Western touch. The compilation is captivating and selects a biting chunk of their tracks.

Press release
These Spanish renditions cap a huge push by the band to complete this rare album. Re recording in their native tongue a selection of great tracks from their first three albums Breed 77 have created a really unique and captivating cultural album which fuses together the Moorish flavour of the Southern Med with their driving melodic hard rock. Following on from their pre ‘Xmas US airplay success with the hispanic rockers of Northern California, “Un Encuentro” was snapped up early for an exclusive release in the US by dedicated hispanic platform ‘iTunes Latino’.
