I’m a Man – Black Strobe
Release date: Out now
Format: Single
Genre: Electro-rock
Our Rating: 2/5
The premise behind this song is Norwegian death metal meets French electro rock in a cover of an old Bo Diddly classic. The mind boggles just at the thought of it. But sadly the reality doesn’t live up to the hype. Billed as a “high octane electronic rockabilly masterpiece”, it’s more like a cross between Doctor and the Medics doing Spirit in the Sky and the Sweet’s Blockbuster. Shame really as it sounded great on paper.
