Our rating: 3/5
1234 is just like one of the long summer days that we’ve sorely missed this year. Running through fields with your teenage crush, or more than likely just dancing along to it in a soggy field at one of the many festivals to come...
Feist’s folky vocals perfectly compliments the lovely sing-along chorus, over strumming guitars, with the added ukulele and violins ...topped off by jaunty pianos and rousing trumpets. If you want to forget about the rest of the world and get lost in a beautiful dream then this is definitely for you.

Press release:
After outstanding reviews from her album The Reminder, Feist releases her new single ‘1234’ .
1234’ is a jangly teen dream paean, fuelled with a festival of sounds that spell summer. Trumpets, piano solos and a fully fledged chorus all bounce to Feist’s haunting voice making ‘1234’ a soon-to-be classic. ‘1234’ was written by Feist and Sally Seltmann, produced by Feist, Gonzales and Renaud Letang and co produced by Ben Mink.
The video for ‘1234’ is a burst of genius from Patrick Daughters who has directed videos for artists such as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Shins, the Futureheads and Kings Of Leon. Shot in one take, it has been cleverly choreographed to create a quirky stream of colour and movement.
