Tiga - You Gonna Want Me: The Remixes
Release date: 14 May 2020
Format: Single
Genre: Electro
Our Rating: 3/5
With a tune that had corduroy carpet burn from begging so hard to be remixed, Tiga launches the remix album of Sexor with a set of refreshed mixes of You Gonna Want Me. The heading Van She remix is rawed up, with plumped chugging bass and a lashing of customary sleaze.
Not a bad rethink, though fans of Tiga and this electro-sex style could say the new sound is just that bit too Milo-ed up. Still, the added noise and raucous beeps really do bring this tune out of itself. Forget the Tocadisco mix, its useless.
Look forward to hearing the full album, but for now Van She mix all the way, decent chug and much harder beats. Bangin...

Press Release
Tiga’s colossal club anthem gets a timely re-release with massive remixes from Tocadisco and Van She!
At the end of 2005, Tiga first dropped You Gonna Want Me on an over-excited clubland. Combine a classic hook with guest vocals from the fabulous Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters) and co-production from the Soulwax brothers and you get a truly beautiful thing.
Now in 2007, Tiga is set to release a refreshed and remixed version of the Sexor album with a new and rather special bonus disc. These new remixes of You Gonna Want Me get the ball rolling in fine style. Two of the hottest remixers around, Tocadisco and Van She add their magic to touch for this year’s You Gonna Want Me.
