It’s hard to be as neutral as Switzerland when you press play to a Bloc Party track. And I for one can’t resist the mental Blocade that befalls these boys. But on hearing this jingly number it is an overhaul from their usual angst riffs.‘I Still Remember’ is an extract of Bland Party, a swift swerve in the melancholy direction of Snow Patrol, (a.k.a Snooze Patrol.) Not a knock to either bands, but ‘I Still Remember’ needs more oomph and heckles a good shake up.
