Massive Demand For Hear'Say Tickets

Five extra dates have been added to Hear'Say's forthcoming arena tour following phenomenal demand for tickets which went on sale today (April 6).
Tickets for the opening night concert at Cardiff Arena (August 28th) sold out within an hour, with four further arena dates selling out within two hours of going on sale.
New dates have now been added at Cardiff (August 27th & 29th), Wembley (September 6th), Birmingham (September 15th) and Manchester (September 23rd).
Kym, Myleene, Suzanne, Danny and Noel have already made it into the record books for having the fastest selling debut single and album - now they look set to have one of the fastest-selling debut tours.

Wookie Backs Up

Wookie releases his new single, "Back Up (To Me)" on the 30th April through Soul 2 Soul Recordings. The new song is a re-worked vocal mix of the massive, underground tune, "Back Up Back Up Back Up", which featured on his debut album. The new version of the track features vocalist Lain, who was the voice of Wookie‚s top 10 hit, "Battle".
Wookie's epnoymously titled debut album was released last October to universal critical acclaim.

De La Soul Nuggets

12 years ago Tommy Boy Records introduced a trio from New York who brought a whole new twist to rap, they released an album which changed the face of hip hop and rap for good.
The group was De La Soul and the album was "3 Feet High and Rising". As part of the Tommy Boy 20th anniversary celebrations, the label will be reissuing "3 Feet High and Rising" in June this year, it was originally released back in 1989. It will be re-mastered for a special limited double LP, while the CD version will feature extra cuts. DLS have been one of Tommy Boy's most successful and longest standing artists. They have recorded five albums to date, and are currently working on the second part to the "Art Official Intelligence" trilogy to be released later this year.

Enchanted Garden sold out - Big Chill announces second summer event

This year's Big Chill Enchanted Garden festival has sold out for the third year running, three months in advance of the event. The weekend festival in Wiltshire, which takes place over the weekend of July 20-22, was put on sale at the beginning of the year and had only just announced its first artist names.
PK Events has just announced details of its major summer event - The Big Chill Festival @ Lulworth Castle - which is taking place over the weekend of August 17-19 in the grounds of the castle near to the Dorset Coast. More details to follow.

Although there has been much talk of Foot and Mouth disease and its impact on the festival calendar this summer, neither The Enchanted Garden nor the forthcoming Big Chill Festival at Lulworth Castle should be affected. The organisers are quietly confident that they will run as planned. Both festivals take place in protected parkland which is not used for grazing animals, and as such doesn't fall under MAFF control. Also no incidents of Foot and Mouth have been reported in either area.
Orgainisers have been in discussion with the Department of Environmental Health and MAFF and both authorities are happy that they go ahead as long as the festivals remains "closed" (no re-admission) in order to control the movement of people within the area, and vehicles which come onto the site are cleanse beforehand.
