Mel
B's little sister to launch pop career |
|
Mel B's
little sister is to follow in the footsteps of her older sibling -
to launch her own pop career. Danielle Brown, 19, is adamant she's
got what it takes rival top teen singers such as Britney Spears and
Samantha Mumba even though she failed to shine as an actress in Emmerdale.
The actress has signed a deal to release her own album. The ambitious
sibling has already recorded a duet with ex-boyfriend Wayne Williams,
formerly of Another Level. The track is to appear on his debut solo
album which is out later this year. |
Robbie
Williams opts for Elvis over God |
|
Robbie Williams has the beginning
of the Serenity Prayer tattooed on the top of his arm - but he's
replaced God with Elvis.
Williams and his group say the prayer, which is also used to conclude
meetings for drug and alcohol addicts, before every show - and the
pop star admits he lives by it. But, since he's not a religious
man, Williams always begins the prayer with the line that's tattooed
on his arm - 'Elvis, grant me the serenity to accept the things
I cannot change...'
It's not the only prayer Robbie has tattooed on his body - he has
a Maori one on his left shoulder. Robbie also has a Celtic cross,
which was done when he was 17, on his hip and a lion on his right
shoulder over the words `Born To Be Wild.'

|
Madonna has pledged to help finance
and produce a TV biopic about Def Leppard. Details of the deal between
the Madguy film production company and satellite music channel VH-1
are due to be announced shortly.
It's believed Madonna and her film company partner Guy Oseary will
produce four original full-length films in all, comprising the Def
Leppard project, a comedy, a courtroom drama and a fictional thriller.
VH-1 will also partner MadGuy in the production of several new music-based
movies, the first of which will be 'The Dusty Springfield Story'
due out later this year.

All
Saints single poor sales |
|
All Saints latest single is showing
early disappointing sales figures - it's only just made it into
Britain's top ten.
'All Hooked Up', which is the third single to be taken from their
'Saints and Sinners' album, has reached number seven in the charts
after a day's sales - a rather poor result compared to the phenomenal
success of the girls' previous tracks.
'Black Coffee' hit the top slot last October(00),while 'Pure Shores'
was last year's(00) second biggest selling single.
'All Hooked Up' has sold just 4,413 copies, despite earlier speculation
that the band's rumoured split might help record sales, as fans
rushed out to collect what could be their last single together as
a foursome.
