"As a vegan I was very interested in visiting this restaurant, and am I glad I did.
It was such a pleasure to be able to order ANYTHING I wanted. Particularly, desserts!
In fact, I started with the desserts and worked my way backwards through the menu.
The service was good and the food is fabulous. I will definitely go again."

"It is so rare to find a place that serves such amazing food at such good prices.
The choices from starters to desserts were imaginative and bursting with flavour. My brocoli and tofu pancake tasted so nice i wanted another and the ginger stir fry was mouth watering. I am not over emphasising - they really were! The wine was organic and cheap, and the sides tasty and at a good price.
A great place for good food and a bustling ambiance as well."

"i had a lovely time in here this week. lovely food, very healthy tofu cooked in an original and interesting way. the waitress was friendly (and had a good sense of humour!) and the ambience in the restaurant was chilled out and just right. the organic wine was great too. i highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back again soon, to try out the other dishes on the varied menu. btw the organic wine was lovely!"

"222 Veggie Vegan is a lovely place with excellent food. All the dishes, drinks and desserts are strictly vegetarian (vegan), so it is the ideal place for vegans who would like to have more choices. But all my "meaty" friends like it just the same. Some of them could not believe that it is vegan.
During lunchtime they offer a great buffet with a wide variety of fresh salads and yummy hot dishes (and the selection is always changing). In the evening you can enjoy delicious dishes a la carte. They are all so good...so I do not really have a favourite.
Since I have discovered 222 I go there frequently.
I have actually abondoned some of the other restaurants I used to go to, because I like their food much better.
And, I love the idea of getting fresh ingredients, freshly-prepared dishes (you sometimes have to wait a bit longer, but it is worth it), no additives and organic produce where possible.
The location is really good, as it is close to High Street Kensington (I often take the bus 28 after shopping), Fulham Broadway and Earl's Court. Don't let you put off by the immediate area. It is not the most beautiful part of London, but restaurants should really not be judged by the area they are located in, but by what they have to offer. And, 222 Veggie Vegan has a lot to offer.

""Vegetarians and vegans rarely have the privilege of picking whatever they want off of the menu. Not the case at 222- the menu offers a select choice of starters, main courses and desserts. Organic ingredients are used where possible, and the nutritional balance of the dishes is spot on. The menu has a great variety of dishes including West Indian food, pancakes, curries and Italian inspired dishes. Also the dessert menu incorporates a wide range of options from vegan cheesecake to papaya tart. The portions are huge and the food is well presented and very satisfying. The ?5 daily lunch buffet is particularly good value, and the smoothies are worth a drinks-only visit. Excellent service, excellent atmosphere and excellent food.""
