Singapore food festival
30
September - 9 October 2020
A taste of Singapore has come to
Kensington at the Royal Garden Hotel in the form of the Singapore food festival,
30- Sept- 9 Oct.
The festival at the hotel's Park Terrace restaurant will
host a colourful and delicious mix of authentic Singaporean foods from of the
country's leading chefs.
The restaurant will be transformed into a
Singaporean eatery complete with décor and music similar to the country's famous
'Hawker Stall' food markets. There will be buffet-style lunches and dinners that
guests can enjoy in true Singapore spirit. To bring authenticity to dishes such
as Hainanese Chicken Rice, Nonya Laksa (noodles in curry sauce) and Black Pepper
Crab, many of the ingredients will be imported direct from Singapore.
"The Royal Garden is delighted to offer this opportunity to experience
the culinary delights of Singaporean food. We are in a unique position to be
able to bring in the best chefs from Singapore, and offer the most authentic
cuisine within the luxury of a five star environment." Said Graham Bamford,
General Manager at the Royal Garden Hotel.

"The Park Terrace Restaurant is located at lobby level, adjacent to Kensington Palace Gardens and Hyde Park. Open from 6.30am to 10.30pm daily, this is the beating heart of the hotel, catering to all tastes at all times of the day. At lunch and dinner, the restaurant buzzes with locals dropping in for a quick bite, and business people for a longer sojourn. Hotel guests are always welcome, and single diners made to feel comfortable. The ambience is easy-going, friendly and unpretentious.
Choose from either the All Day Dining Menu, which features international staples perfectly produced (pastas, salads, burgers, grills, an onion soup or cheesecake) or the British Specialty Menu. Menus are overseen by Executive Chef, Steve Munkley."
