The meat at Alounak is always fresh and elegantly marinated. I have taken friends of different nationalities to Alounak and they have all loved it."

CK said on 20th May ... "I finally visited this place tonight and thought that the 3 kabob plates were excellent (lamb and chicken). The grilled/mashed aubergine appetizer was great, a nice different take on babaganoush. I've had better yoghurt drinks (dough) and rose water/saffron ice cream, but my friends thought that it was good. The service wasn't the best, they were a bit too eager to take things off our table before we were done eating/drinking. "
