"Absolutely ridiculous this post by "alias & patel shah". The food is amazing there. The Chicken Tikka Masala is to die for. I have seen the Chana Masala in this restaurant and is not saucy at all so how on earth can it have "passed itself as a sauce" when it is not even saucy.

The tandoori chicken is very traditional, when I went to it's Grand Opening I asked to see the Kitchen and the tandoor is a traditional tandoor. The samosas are not shop-bought at all I know that these samosas are freshly made and yes, I agree that they are small but they are not as small as you say. What nonsense you "being a native Indian", you thought the Chana Masala has sauce when it doesn't and on the menu it doesn't say that the dish has sauce. The management is always concerned about the quality of their food but I have never received any "uncooked" or "un-tandoori chicken" since I have been dining at this restaurant. I always go to this restaurant every month and never has there been anything wrong with the order. The quality has always been at a high standard.

These people do not know what they are on about, I go to this restaurant every month and there has never been any mishaps. "

"Absolutely amazing. The best dining experience I have ever had. Where to start, well the service was excellent. The waiters were very polite and kind. Even though the entire restaurant was full including the downstairs they treated us with such care. The food speaks for itself. The Head Chef Rana who I remember meeting back in 1998 is still working there, his food has always been that same amazing taste. The Chicken Tikka Masala is a must have, it was just completely delicious. I think that the food is worth the price.

I would recommend anyone to go to this restaurant, you will surely be in for a treat. The restaurant still has that magic touch although the decoration has changed it will still be that Kensington Tandoori I know. "

"I had been to this restaurant many years ago, and whilst not the best in London, it always had reasonably reliable Indian fayre. However, this is a hybrid Bangladeshi restaurant masquerading as an Indian.

The Ghosh Khata-something was meant to be lamb, but was actually chicken passed off as lamb. The 'Chef's Special' Chicken Tikka Masala tasted of medicine, and the Channa Masala was uncooked in something that passed itself as a sauce.

All of this was preceded by the most un-"tandoori chicken" I have ever had. And the samosas are shop-bought, oven-heated jobs which are so small, they're almost invisible.

I hardly ever write reviews, but this was by far the worst food I've had in a very long time (being a native Indian), and felt compelled to make sure the management take notice. They were so blase when I complained about the quality of the food - I was
totally taken aback at their lack of concern over the quality."
