Jacobs is a fantastic place. run by a family who enjoys doing it. the food is good and plenty. mostly mid-eastern. the atmosphere is warm and friendly. the place is my favourite now in this part of town!

I had my birthday there yesterday and i must say that i was so disappointed with the food. The starters were lovely and all my friends loved it,but the menu wasnt at all. The food was tasteless, no special ingredients in it! My friends did not like the food and they made it so clear to me, and i felt bad for letting them down on my birthday! Over priced food and drinks which are nothing special at all,one thing for sure,i will never go back to that place,and i do regret going there,what a let down!

We stumbled into Jacob's while staying at a hotel nearby and ate there so many times it began to feel like home. The food does seem like home cooking. You are not overwhelmed by choices and can see everything cafeteria style before it is reheated for you. just like home. The dining area is cozy and prettily decorated. I didn't mind the tv playing (once again� like home). The chocolate salami may sound dreadful but it's delicious (cookie crumbs mixed with chocolate, formed into a roll and sliced thin).

I haven't yet been to Jacob's. But I wanted to no-thank all those 'reviewers' with silly names who bad-mouthed it - if your opinion (sic) is so valid (sic), why not give your real name?Otherwise, you higher beings (sic) simply play devil's advocate and encourage us lesser mortals to try it anyway. When of course we need your so-wise guidance, OH YEAH ;-P
